The Stride & Mobility Center is part of Peaceful Moments Veterinary Care, a practice dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered veterinary services. Our rehabilitation program focuses on improving mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life for pets through gentle, evidence-based care.
Our team brings experience in veterinary rehabilitation, senior pet care, palliative support, and post-surgical recovery. We believe rehabilitation should be both medically sound and emotionally supportive for pets and their families.

LVT, CCAT, CPEP
Laura has two decades of veterinary medical experience and is deeply committed to enhancing animal health and welfare. She earned her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree from Penn Foster and her Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist Certification through North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
She holds certifications in pet CPR and Fear-Free practices and has worked in both general practice and emergency medical/critical care. Laura is particularly passionate about end-of-life care, focusing on comfort for animals in all life's stages.

DVM, MS, CHPV
Dr. Flanagan is a Kalamazoo area native with extensive clinical experience in the field of veterinary medicine. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hope College. In 2024, she earned her Veterinary Certification in Pet Hospice and Palliative Care(CHPV) from the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC). Dr. Flanagan has professional interests in senior companion animal medicine, dentistry, and compassionate end-of-life care.
Outside of work, Dr. Flanagan enjoys traveling, birdwatching, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family, which includes her husband, two adult children, and a menagerie of pets: three cats, a school of fish, a corn snake, and poison dart frogs.
